Camden County Child Advocacy Center

We are the Friends of the Camden County Child Advocacy Center, and we help support and bring awareness to the Child Advocacy Center of Camden County. Our primary mission is to raise funds to financially support the Child Advocacy Center, which is a physically and psychologically safe space where children of abuse and neglect can receive services.

The Friends of the Camden County Advocacy Center is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. No goods or services were provided for this gift. Please consult your tax advisor regarding specific questions about your deductions.

Child abuse is alarmingly common, with nearly 700,000 children abused in the United States annually

Child Abuse

Neglect is the most common form of maltreatment at 75% of reported cases. 17.2% of reported cases involve physical abuse and 8.4% involve sexual abuse. Some are victims of more than one category.

Doing Our Part

The Friends organization helps raise money to suppliment public funds, allowing the Center professionals to provide more thorough aid to the most vulnerable.
